Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass #5)
Once again Sarah J. Maas proves why she is topping the charts. Her newest release, Empire of Storms, renews my love for her writing and characters. Aelin and her court are still battling Erawan and his dark forces and at the same time trying to reclaim Aelin’s throne. Things never seem to go Aelin’s way as curveball after curveball are thrown at the young Queen. I enjoy learning more about some of the newer characters, which is not normally how I feel. Lorcan and Elide are interesting and I am looking forward to finding out what happens in the future for each of them. The book ends on a sort of cliffhanger, but really just opens the way for book 6, which I NEED as soon as possible! I know, I’ll have to wait a year at least, but if Ms. Maas continues writing like she has been, it will be well worth the wait.
