Barely Awake
Barely Awake was a wonderful, fast read that had me smiling and laughing out loud. Bobby is a bear shifter whose bear is trying to hibernate unseasonably early. It’s his first semester at the college and he can’t afford to fail and get kicked out. Lynn is an outcast who can’t keep her quick wit and sharp tongue under wraps despite desperately wanting a friend. Their teacher offers Lynn extra credit if she helps Bobby pass their final and she’s determined to help him. Circumstances change as does their relationship. I enjoyed the characters, all unique and fun to get to know. I will definitely be checking out more by this author and recommend this book to anyone wanting a light, fun, and fast read!
