Devil May Care (The Veil #2)
Devil May Care is the second book of The Veil Series. It picks up six months (human realm time) after Stefan forced Akil back to the demon realm, locking himself there as well. Muse learns that a terrifying demon is hunting female Enforcers and that she may be next on his list. She has to get her demon back so that she can save Stefan from the demon realm and protect herself from this demon she once thought was dead. You'll definitely want the third book handy because you're left with a lot of questions unanswered.
