Reign of Shadows

I wasn’t a fan of Firelight (mainly because I didn’t like the MC), which is the only other Sophie Jordan book that I’ve read, but I gave this book a chance. I was not disappointed! I read this book in one day because of the action and how invested I was in Luna's story. This is an incredible book and is so well written! I loved everything except Luna’s reaction to something at the end (don’t want to spoil it for anyone so I won’t say more) and the huge cliffhanger! The cliffhanger doesn’t make me angry because it was bad or anything. I just REALLY want to know what happens and wish that I had the next book available, but we don’t even have a release date for the next one since this book just came out last month! Our protagonists are strong in their own ways and together it seems like nothing can stop them. I loved this story and the new world Ms. Jordan created and I cannot wait to read more about Luna and Fowler and find out what happens next.
